Im the oldest film student ever! l was made redundant in 2010 after 24 years in construction design. l dont have as much money, but am enjoying my life more, and what happened during my various short assignment movies, my college spotted l had a talent for prop making and after jumping through a few hoops l start as a part-time lecturer in September 2012. The point is you just never know what can happen and whats great is l get to write and make MORE movies. So far l have had one feature script get through one hurdle at BBC, one short shown at a festival in Leeds which was a big kick. No big time but Im having a ball. My prop making skills have been used in several low budget horror movies by local Directors and production companies. Rejection is easier to take now....just keep on ducking and diving....you know the rest....
