A very short experimental, conceptual film showing water in various states. Inspired by my fundamental, obsessional relationship with nature. The title of the film 'Arianrhod' is a figure in Welsh mythology who's name means 'Silver Wheel' - Silver refers to the reflection of the moon on the ocean surrounding my home Island of Anglesey, and Wheel refering to the circle of life and nature. Arianrhod came to my attention after watching the 1992 Welsh anti war biopic film 'Hedd Wyn'. In the film, Similarly to myself, Arianrhod was the writers main source of inspiration. She was porteayed through the moon, nature, and lust. The flow of the edit was a concious desicion made to banish all 'artificial' techniques, resulting in a clean cut short with hardly any transitions or filters. I experimented with using a static camera position, sound transformation and steering my artisting qualities into film. Shot on 5D Mark ii, all audio edited individually in pro-tools.
