Dan Allen is an award-winning & BFI funded filmmaker from Essex UK. His work has been enjoyed across the globe and earned him a respectable following on sites such as YouTube and Facebook. Biography: Award-winning director Dan Allen wrote his first short film whilst on chemotherapy for Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer in his penultimate year of secondary school, which went on to win the 'Best Young Filmmaker' award at Coca-Cola Cinemagic Film Festival in 2009. He has since gained countless screenings and short-lists as well as many other awards for his filmmaking. He started making 'experimental films' when he was about 10 years of age.
