I studied set design at The University of the Arts Wimbledon but during my second year i became fascinated by stop motion animation. I began teaching myself the relevant techniques and interned on the Tim Burton film 'Frankenweenie' for six weeks. I devoted my third year to make my first complete animation 'Step One'. Using my bedroom as a studio, I designed, filmed and edited the short film, sacrificing my bed and sleep!
