The Shorts Awards evening is in sight and, as our 12 shortlisters wait nervously for the results, we’re getting ready for one heck of a party. To make sure you’re there with us, keep working out the clues in our treasure hunt and, come next week, you could be the lucky winner of a pair of shiny tickets to the Awards night at BFI Southbank on 10th November,

We’ll publish all 12 clues this week so don’t panic if you’ve missed any. So, here’s Clue number 8..

In the film from Clue 7 we see a man, plagued by his past, brandishing a cleaver but stopping short of the final blow. Clue 8's film sees a much more delicate chop of a tiny cutlet in this quirky short.
