About the film maker
Hi, my name is michael, i'm 19 and i love making films! im currently at the university of central lancashire (UCLAN) studying film and media production. i first new that i wanted to work in film production in college, i made a couple of films that i put towards my Art A- level as well as my media. i made a film on my mobile phone for a metro news paper competition once. but didnt win :-( This is what caught my eye about the virgin shorts competition, for the new category of best film made with a mobile phone. so i went out and filmed one, its called rush and it is inspired by true events :-) iv also uploaded a video called years ahead which i made for my first project at uni, its based around a poem by Guy N. Pocock and it is best described as a memorial video, it makes you think.
