About this film

Title: Recovered Running time: 02'19" Synopsis

Myself & Joe wanted to make a short film shown from a first person perspective in order to achieve full immersabilty for the audience whilst watching the film. The film came second place in the FDMX UH Animation Expose, and was given a prestige front page link on the popular CG website 3dtotal.com. The film has a Blair Witch Project / Cloverfield influence, as we the creators believe that more and more modern day film makers are beginning to convey their stories via a first person view. The film is a 3d animated short film based on an evacuated part of London (High Barnet) which has been devastated by an unknown robotic type creature. A courageous and curious news reporter armed with his camcorder seeks to investigate the mass evacuation, regardless of the evacuation warnings. His fate will be revealed once he discovers the truth.
