About the film maker
After studying in SA 2005, I formed Glass Jar Films with my wife, since then we've created several shorts. Our approach is collaborative & values driven. We are interested in character & story with a fascination for social & cultural questions & tensions that exist today. The company name came from the childlike wonder & awe we have for the world around us. As we did in our jam-jars as kids, we collect, inspect & dissect the lives, stories & issues we see around us, in order to try and make sense of it & discover the innate beauty or horror in it. We've a strong belief in the medium of film, not merely as a platform for entertainment, but as an art form that has ability to provoke thought, discussion & challenge. Future: We'd like the company to incorporate a team of filmmakers committed to excellence in film making, both fact & fiction.

Great to see a retro Monopoly making it to the screen once again! Liked the concept and the boy was great.
