Wrong decision
Dan, I made 'i learn' on here and i think you were desperately unlucky not to be shortlisted. For me i think they've made some bad calls, but i think you could/should have won. It is very well directed, shot, performed and edited film, and tells a complete story. From someone who has made a few rom coms, I'm impressed you did it in the time limit. I have no doubt it will go on to bigger and better things and receive the recognition it deserves. Well done.

Nice
I liked this, but the sound was a bit hissy (esp in the shop). Nice story to get into 2:20, feels like it should have been longer. Nice work!

pretty sweet.
I liked this. loved the paper following shot. Overall a good story, well executed in terms of Direction, Editing and Camerawork. Would like to see more from this team.

Thanks Nick, i was holding off leaving any comments as i didn't want to sound desperate but it certainly means a lot to know that people enjoyed my film. Obviously its annoying not to have made the shortlist but there are other competitions and more scripts to write! Its not the end of the road yet...
