Family Ties is a short film. The narrative follows a girl as she sits and reminiscences over photographs of her sister. From what she says, it is insinuated that her sister has died. As the girl faces herself in the mirror, she declares how lost she is without her sister. We then see everything from the mirror's perspective, in which the ghost of her sister appears next to her and promises never to leave her...
