After graduating last year with a 2.1 in BA Video Production I soon went out to pursue my career as an editor. I have been working in the industry for the past 10 months and I am loving every minute of it. I have just started working for ITV. I am extremely interested in video as an experimental and expressive art form.

I was really moved by this. Thought it communicated the theme really well and it was very original. Have a look at our entry, "Mr. Alice", and let us know what you think!

Brilliant! Completely believe in carpe diem (seizing the day). Very interesting way you've edited it together, i like the stop motion repetition shots, it makes us realise that we need to seize everyday while we can or we fall into the trap of repetition.

Keep up the great work, feel free to follow my similar themed film 'Revelation'

    Best,
    Nick

With a name like Alexander you just can't go wrong - my son has been making films for the last six months and it wont be long before he makes the big time! I loved your film in a sad sort of way. Carpe Diem, Seize the Day, would normally get me fired up to thinking that someone was going to get up and make the best of the day, not portray the situation in a repetetive and sad way - or perhaps the point was he wasnt Seizing the Day and it was about time he got off the treadmill! Keep up the good work.

Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem (Seize the Day) is a short experimental retrospect using the form and function of video to place great emphasis on the protagonists situation e.g. loneliness and repetitiveness.
