There's some great shotmaking here. There were for me a few timing problems at the beginning, for instance with the speed the cyclist got up (why didn't he call out?) and how long it took him to take up the chase, and it seemed to me that by not getting a shot of the woman's face on sight of the ring an opportunity was missed. Would she not have jumped to the conclusion that all of that was part of the proposal staging? Would the man have played along with that assumption? These are minor niggles however. It's a good piece of work.

What was the point in this short?

Soem great bit of kit were used of that i have no doubt, but i didnt care about the guy on the bike or the guy that actually lost the ring.

There was no reason to care as there was no introduction to either of them nor was there any acting !

Total shame as there is obviously some talent in your pool and you have access to soem great kit but this peice is a total waste of time.

Re think and do some more work in building characters next time and 'finish' the project rather than slap it together.

This comment is not praising the film as I am the producer of it so I will leave the film to speak for itself. I am posting this regarding a couple of comments posted above. I would generally take criticism on board as its something to expect in this industry. But, due to the comment coming across as been done by someone I must know, and the spelling mistakes. I am taking this as someone who has sour grapes towards myself and my fellow filmmakers it annoys me that they would stoop so low to publicly slander the film when there was know need to. Though I have my su@#*!ions I am not going to publicly name the people as I am not going to get into a slanging match about it. I just feel that whoever it is would grow up a little and be happy that where trying to achieve something

good short film the story was still able to be told well with just a musical soundtrack a good deed by the cylist moral of this short story there are still some good honest people out there.

Pretty damn crap to be honest...the fancy technical equipment to me spells 'EGO' and any monkey with access to said equipment can make their film look 'amazing'. The film-makers minds were clearly focusing on their crane shots than what was going on in the film which could have been handled much much better by a much much more capable director.

All in all GOOD camerawork BAD everything else.

I enjoyed watching this short. Liked the idea, and still worked with a short time frame.

Reading other comments above there seem to be some bitter people out there, looking to spoil things for others which is a shame.

Its true there are a few rough comments here, but in that respect youve got off lightly as there are others which have taken a real caning for no reason. Youve got some good constructive comments that point out whats missing and its worth paying attention to them the rest you can ignore. Things balance out over a bit of time and the good stuff finds its way tp the top and the bad stuff sinks, except for where someone inflates there own film by getting mates to vote them up and hack down the oposition but even that dont last forever.

I think it's a shame you have been targetted by the idiots who are doing the same thing elsewhere. It's got a fair bit to recommend itself so it's unfair for people to attack your film so mindlessly. I think there are some weaknesses to it so I wouldn't praise it unreservedly, but you have made a fair crack at producing something of quality and that is to be admired. What a shame there is no way to moderate those with an axe to grind!
