My name is Mohammed Aqeel Ahmed, but you can call me Aqeel. I'm a visual effects artist, specialising in animation and compositing. I am also an amateur director. The film I have submitted is my final university degree project that I co-created with Krissy Josephides. Krissy did the character animation and a some prop models, while I did everything else. It managed to get into the University's Film Day, and won the award for best comedy.

For 98% of this film, I thought it was a social commentary on immigration - then came the jokey end. Well made and enjoyable, but I was left wondering what the idea was.

The fellow above with the letter for a name has been posting on many entries. his posts are always rude and disparaging. It's a fair guess that he's a small inadequate child whose own entry is languishing at the bottom somewhere and so his only recourse is attack others. That's both pathetic and a shame

I'd like to congratulate the makers of this film both for making a fun and technically accomplished short and for being shortlisted. A very fine effort.
