I am a 19 year old filmmaker from the West Midlands. Just finished a HND in Film Making at Worcester Uni/Kidderminster College.
I have uploaded the original version and a 2.5 minute version of 'Modern Times'
Thanks for watching and i hope you enjoy.
cool concept, but a little laboured as it went on too long. Well made film, nice music though.

Very sweet. The soundtrack was great too. Evocative. Good stuff.
some nice effects, I couldn't work out how you were doing them until I heard him speak in what sounded like a studio, then I realised you filmed him seperately. Nice work though.

the whole idea was really good so whoever came up with that in your team deserves a big slap on the back :D
now the effects where really good however when the dude stands in front of the hedge..the whole blending was not seamless but apart from that it was alrite
music etc was brilliant

The start really captures the feel of the silent comedies and the effects and music really help sell the idea of a man out of place before bringing a smile to your face with the ending.
great work
P.S: too much like torchwood?! it says winter 2007 at the end months before torchwood :\

Why does he look at the grass as if it's a post-1920's piece of technology?

Or was it just because it was in colour?
Either way, I liked your film. Well done.
